Bush Church Aid
For nearly 100 years BCA has shared the gospel, built up the church, and cared for people all around Australia. The Field Staff serve in regional and remote parts of Australia. Locals in these places are removed from cities, live in sparsely populated towns (sometimes as small as a few hundred people), and often don’t benefit from strong support networks of family and friends. Churches in these areas can struggle, ongoing fellowship can be hard to maintain, and encouragement can become a rarity. This is where BCA comes in.
With the financial support of Christians in the more populous parts of the continent they provide the staff and resources to encourage and assist these small and often isolated groups of people.
Currently there are 30 members of HPAC who are assisting this ministry by accumulating their small change in a BCA Moneybox. This is collected and sent to BCA headquarters for use in their ministry.
Anyone requiring a new or additional box please contact Phyllis.
In addition to the Moneyboxes many people are saving their used stamps. These are bundled and sold to raise more money for BCA projects.
