What inspires you about the HP Anglican Church community (HPAC)?
HPAC is our extended family. We care and love for one another. We meet together around God’s word, are encouraged by solid teaching from the Bible each week and in growth groups. We pray for one another and the wider community. Our focus is not just on growing our own relationships with Christ but in seeing many others in the community and in turn the world come to know Jesus for themselves.

We are excited about ministry in the church at Harrington Park and to the wider community in the Macarthur region. It’s been our goal for more than 10 years to minister in a church like Harrington Park. It has been a wonderful challenge in 2015 to move across to Gregory Hills and develop the congregation there. .

What is your passion for ministry? Why do you do it?
All Christians are involved in ministry. Some of us are encouraged to be relieved of the burden of secular work so that we can do what Christians are keen on doing full-time. The good news of Jesus means I’ve been saved from the just judgment of God, and in the end, that’s all that’s going to matter for anyone. Being a white Australian, I’ve been given more opportunities than most people in the world. When Jesus returns, I don’t want to say that I just sat around and lived like the typical Aussie. I want to do the most I can with what he has given me. Seeing people accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, and growing in their relationship with him, means the difference between an eternity in hell and an eternity in heaven. I know where I want to be, and I want to take as many people with me as I can.
